William T. Eberhard AIA, IIDA is one of the top design professionals in the United States. Bill was recruited to open the Cleveland, Oh office of Oliver Design Group in 1983, bringing extensive experience in the planning and design of major institutional, renovation and office projects. Prior to joining Oliver Design Group, Bill was a Principal in the 22-person architectural and planning firm of Visnapuu & Associates Inc., where Bill had been named Director of Design at the age of 22, and was made Vice President of the firm at the age of 27.
Bill's significant programming and design skills, his commitment to strategic planning and consultation as well as his commitment to cost management and his tremendous experience with major renovation and office projects represent unique attributes that make Oliver Design Group one of the eminent planning and design firms in the country. Bill is also recognized as an expert in the field of Strategic Real Estate Planning, having executed numerous complex real state strategic master plans that have successfully aligned physical space with the strategic business goals and objectives of numerous organizations and corporations. For three years, he served as one of only four representatives on the Grubb & Ellis National Accounts Team, delivering tactical and strategic real estate services to major users throughout the United States.
Due to his commitment to design excellence, his leadership and management skills, Bill was made responsible for all Oliver Design Group offices in 1988, including operations in Pittsburgh and Detroit. In 1990, Bill purchased Oliver Design Group and sold the satellite operations to focus on client services from the home base in Cleveland, OH. Bill is both a registered Architect and registered Interior Designer, reflecting the multi-disciplinary approach of the firm to developing effective solutions to meet client needs.
Bill attended the University of Cincinnati and the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, England. He graduated with honors from U.C., the only student to successfully execute his thesis, a Campus Master plan and the first three buildings for Terra Community College in Fremont, OH.
